Philadelphia Chinese Language Meetup Holds Open Conversation Night on November 5
In Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, the Philadelphia Chinese Language Meetup Group will hold a casual conversation night on Thursday, November 5, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., open to Mandarin learners of all levels. The address is shown only to members who join and RSVP.
Founded on Meetup in 2005, the group has 1,037 members and an average event rating of 4.68 from 594 ratings. It describes itself as an outlet for practicing Mandarin speaking skills rather than a substitute for classes or self-study, and it is a private group whose new members need approval. Pennsylvania's Chinese language teacher network also lists it as a place to practice Mandarin regardless of proficiency.
Later sessions are listed for November 18, December 2, December 16 and December 30 at 6:30 p.m. Event details can change, and attendees can confirm with the organizers beforehand.
