Alabama Coach Updates Injuries: Five Players Working Back in Practice Ahead of November 7 Trip to LSU

University of Alabama head football coach Kalen DeBoer updated his team's injuries at his weekly news conference on November 2 in Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama: defensive back Zabien Brown, wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams, running back EJ Crowell, offensive lineman Racin Delgatty and defensive lineman Terrance Green are all back working out ahead of the November 7 road game at LSU.
DeBoer said the players are not all in the exact same spot — some are taking team reps and some non-contact reps — but their progress is heading in a good direction, and their availability will depend on how their bodies respond during the week. None of them played in Alabama's win over Texas A&M; Coleman-Williams is working back from a knee injury, while Brown, Delgatty and Crowell each have lower-extremity injuries.
Linebacker Desmond Umeozulu, out since September 19, will remain out for a while, with a possible return at the very back end of the regular season. Offensive lineman William Sanders, who previously had surgery on a high ankle sprain, was not addressed on Monday. Alabama kicks off at LSU at 2:30 p.m. on November 7 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
