Snow Advisory for Colorado High Country: 3 to 7 Inches Expected Near Eisenhower Tunnel, Slippery Morning and Evening Commutes

Monday, November 2, 2026 · States · GSM News

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for Colorado's high country: from 5 a.m. to midnight on November 2, areas above 9,000 feet were expected to receive 3 to 7 inches of snow, covering the mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range and the Indian Peaks, including the Eisenhower Tunnel, Berthoud Pass, Breckenridge and Winter Park.

The Weather Service said the snow would make mountain roads slippery and affect both the Monday morning and evening commutes on November 2. On November 3, the mountains were expected to turn partly cloudy with highs of 34 to 44 degrees and gusts up to 35 mph. In southwestern Colorado, flooding from the weekend storm had not fully receded, with several rivers still running high.
