Sentinel Running Back Kaden Thennis Commits to Montana State: 1,016 Rushing Yards and 11 Touchdowns This Season

Missoula Sentinel running back Kaden Thennis, of Missoula in Missoula County, Montana, announced via social media on November 2 that he has verbally committed to the Montana State football team as a running back. He committed just five days after receiving Montana State's official offer; it was his only Division I offer, and he chose Bozeman over offers from Montana Western and Carroll College.
As a senior this season, Thennis has rushed for 1,016 yards, fifth in Montana Class AA, averaging more than 7.5 yards per carry with 11 touchdowns. He helped Sentinel to a 6-3 regular-season record and the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference; the Spartans open the playoffs at home Friday night against the Gallatin Raptors.
Thennis is also a standout baseball player and had considered baseball for college athletics before deciding to focus on football. His older brother Gavin attended the University of Montana and worked in the Grizzlies football equipment room.
