Nissan Unveils Roofless Armada 'Jungle Patrol' Concept at SEMA: Tubular Roll Cage Replaces the Roof

Monday, November 2, 2026 · States · GSM News

Nissan on November 2 unveiled the Armada 'Jungle Patrol,' one of three truck and SUV concepts prepared for the 2026 SEMA Show, which runs November 3 to 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada; Nissan's concepts are at booth 21521 in Central Hall.

The concept's most striking change is the removal of the conventional roof in favor of a tubular steel roll cage, with inward-facing bench seats and harnesses in a safari-inspired cabin. It wears jungle-themed graphics, tubular steel bumpers and fender flares, a CJD long-travel racing suspension, prototype NISMO 18-inch beadlock wheels and 37-inch Yokohama Geolandar M/T tires. It retains the Armada's 3.5-liter V6, rated at 425 horsepower in standard form, with a prototype NISMO cat-back exhaust.

Nissan says the three concepts are meant to inspire personalization and gather feedback on future accessories and product directions; none will be produced in its current form, though some accessories may eventually be offered through dealers. The reveal follows a slew of low-slung car concepts Nissan showed last week.
