Governor Ayotte Makes Final Appeal at Nashua Rotary Club: UNH Poll Ties Her With Warmington at 48%

Monday, November 2, 2026 · States · GSM News

New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte went before the Nashua Rotary Club in Nashua, Hillsborough County, on November 2 to make her final appeal roughly 18 hours before polls open for the November 3 midterm election. 'I understand that we have challenges right now. I will work with anyone to solve those challenges,' she said.

Ayotte said she inherited a difficult economic situation two years ago, after the state had exhausted the $1.4 billion it received under the American Rescue Plan Act. She cited 12 housing bills signed into law, added special education funding and a September 2025 overhaul of the bail law, and touted the state's community colleges as among the top 10 networks in the nation, free to residents earning under $100,000 a year; the state also funds $88 million in childcare scholarships.

According to the University of New Hampshire, Ayotte and Democratic challenger Cinde Warmington are tied at 48 percent each.
