Chinese-American Founder Angela Wang Named a November Local to Watch for WITH AN, Her Maternal Care Brand Rooted in Chinese Postpartum Traditions
Angela Wang, a Jersey City resident in Hudson County, New Jersey, and founder of the maternal care brand WITH AN, was named on November 2 to a local list of 10 Hoboken and Jersey City people to watch for November 2026, alongside entrepreneurs, local leaders and creatives shaping the two cities.
After becoming a mother, Wang's perspective on success, time and work shifted, inspiring her to found WITH AN, a maternal care brand rooted in Chinese postpartum traditions that provides local mothers with care and a space for support. Health care has long been personal to her, shaped by her experience as a caregiver for her father. 'I've experienced what it means to have a village. My goal is to help more mothers feel that kind of support, starting in our own community,' she said.
As the brand grows step by step, her long-term goal is to build a nonprofit arm supporting mothers who may not have access to the resources they need. Her local favorites include several cafes and restaurants and Dao Shang Acupuncture.
