Maryland GOP Gubernatorial Nominee Cox Serves Meals to the Homeless in Baltimore on Election Eve

Dan Cox, the Republican nominee for governor of Maryland, volunteered on November 2, the day before Election Day, at the Our Daily Bread Employment Center in downtown Baltimore, serving meals to people experiencing homelessness.
Our Daily Bread is a program of Catholic Charities of Baltimore, located at 725 Fallsway. It is Maryland's largest hot meal program, providing more than 250,000 meals a year to people facing hunger in Baltimore.
Cox was joined by his running mate, Rob Krop, and state House of Delegates candidates Chikongola Linton and Domonic Martin. The Maryland Black Republican Council said on social media that the group served meals alongside council members. Cox's campaign said the visit was meant to draw attention to the challenges facing the city's most vulnerable residents, describing it as a community volunteer activity with no campaign speech at the site.
Maryland voters go to the polls on November 3, when Cox faces Democratic Governor Wes Moore in a rematch of their 2022 race.
