Garagiste Wine Festival Returns to Paso Robles November 6-7 With 50-Plus Small-Production Winemakers

The 16th Garagiste Wine Festival runs November 6-7, 2026, in Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo County, California. The organizer says more than 50 micro-production winemakers are pouring this year; most have no tasting rooms, and many of their wines are sold only through allocation lists.
On November 6 from 6:30 to 9 p.m., the Rare & Reserve Tasting and buffet dinner takes place at the AVA Hotel, 944 Pine Street, priced at $95 and limited to 150 tickets. The organizer says the evening pours more than 50 hard-to-find wines, including library wines, club-only releases and barrel samples, with a Mediterranean-inspired buffet by the hotel's Chef Julien Asseo.
The main event on November 7 is at the Paso Event Center's Estrella Hall, 2198 Riverside Ave. A seminar on Italian grape varieties grown in Paso Robles starts at 11:30 a.m. for VIP and weekend-pass holders. The Grand Tasting runs 2 to 5 p.m. with more than 50 winemakers pouring 200-plus wines across 20-plus varieties; Grand Tasting tickets are $79, early access is $99, all-day VIP access is $165, and the after-party from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. is $29. Weekend passes are listed as sold out.
A silent wine auction from 1 to 4 p.m. on November 7 benefits the Garagiste Scholarship Fund at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Admission is limited to guests age 21 and over. The full schedule and tickets are on the festival's official site, garagistefestival.com. (Source: Garagiste Festival official site)
