Alhambra Holiday Home Decorating Contest 2026 Opens Applications Through December 7, Judging December 8-14
The City of Alhambra, in Los Angeles County, California, has opened applications for its 2026 Holiday Home Decorating Contest. Applications will be accepted between November 2 and December 7, 2026, in person at the Alhambra Park Office, 500 North Palm Ave, or by email at [email protected].
The contest is limited to decorations that can be seen from the street side of the house at night. Judging will take place between December 8 and December 14, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., rain or shine, and participants should have their decorations on no later than 6 p.m. every night of that week; houses whose lights are not on may be disqualified, and judges' decisions are final.
Participants are asked to keep their houses decorated through January 6, 2027, so the community can enjoy them. Winners will receive a special visit on the night of Thursday, December 17.
