Santa Clarita to Light Up Main Street in Old Town Newhall on November 21 with Giant Christmas Tree Lighting

The City of Santa Clarita, in Los Angeles County, California, will hold its annual Light Up Main Street event in Old Town Newhall on November 21, when the City Council flips the switch to illuminate the giant Christmas Tree and the lights up and down Main Street, with thousands of residents expected to attend. City Manager Ken Striplin outlined the event in his November Thanksgiving-season message to residents.
In the message, Striplin also recapped recent milestones: last month the city officially opened The Rink Sports Pavilion, a new destination where residents can roller skate, get active, celebrate and spend time together; and through a partnership with the Saugus Union School District, the city is acquiring the former Santa Clarita Elementary School campus, which the City Council will now reimagine to best serve the community.
He also reminded residents that they can cast their ballots on November 3 and make their voices heard in the civic process. The City Manager's office is at 23920 Valencia Blvd. Suite 300, Santa Clarita, CA 91355.
