City of Corona Reminds Voters to Return Ballots on Election Day, November 3; Brentwood Park Planting Set for November 7
The City of Corona, in Riverside County, California, issued its weekly municipal bulletin on November 2, reminding residents that Election Day is Tuesday, November 3: voters may cast a ballot in person or drop off a completed ballot at an official drop-off location, with voter information on in-person voting locations and drop-off sites linked in the bulletin.
For post-Halloween pumpkins, the city reminded residents to place pumpkins in the green waste bin for proper disposal.
The Corona Police Department's Kids & Cops Holiday Magic program, which brings holiday gifts, crafts and fun to local families, has opened in-person registration at the City Hall Lobby, 400 S. Vicentia Ave., on November 11, 18 and 20 from 5 to 7 p.m.; November 14 and 21 and December 5 from 9 to 11 a.m.; and December 2 and 4 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The city also invited residents to complete its strategic plan survey and share ideas and priorities for the community, saying the feedback will help guide the city's future.
A planting and cleanup event at Brentwood Park is set for Saturday, November 7, from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Brentwood Park Picnic Area, with check-in beginning at 7:30 a.m. Registration closes November 4 at 5 p.m.
Other items included the release of the 2026 State of the City video, Grand By Design; the return of the Corona 5000 5K run/walk on February 27, 2027, on Grand Boulevard's historic loop, with a new Kids 500 and early-bird registration after last year's inaugural race sold out; the Corona Farmer's Market every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Sixth and Main; Cars & Coffee every Saturday from 7 to 9 a.m.; and reduced-rate adoptions at the Corona Animal Shelter on November 9.
