PVH Adds Former Starwood CEO Frits van Paasschen to Board of Directors

PVH Corp., the U.S. apparel group that owns Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, announced on November 2 that Frits Dirk van Paasschen has joined its board of directors, effective immediately.
Van Paasschen currently serves on the boards of DSM-Firmenich, Amadeus and Williams-Sonoma, and until recently was a director of J.Crew. He previously served as chief executive officer of Starwood Hotels and Resorts and of Coors, as general manager of Nike's Europe, Middle East and Africa region, and held roles at Disney's consumer products division, Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey & Company. He holds a bachelor's degree from Amherst College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Michael Calbert, chair of the PVH board, said van Paasschen's experience leading global consumer and lifestyle brands through transformation would bring a valuable perspective to the board. Chief Executive Officer Stefan Larsson said the appointment comes as the company works to build Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger into the most desirable global lifestyle brands in their categories.
Van Paasschen said he was impressed by the strength of PVH's brand portfolio, global footprint and leadership team, and looked forward to working with the board and management.
