The Salvation Army Pasadena Annual Fundraising Gala Set for November 5: Red Kettle Season Kickoff Aims to Raise $150,000
The Salvation Army Pasadena Tabernacle has announced that its 2026 Annual Fundraising Gala will be held on Thursday, November 5, at 6 p.m. at the Noor Event Center, 300 E. Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena, a city in Los Angeles County, California. The gala serves as the official kickoff of The Salvation Army's iconic Red Kettle Season, and tickets are available through The Salvation Army's official gala registration page.
The gala has a fundraising goal of $150,000, and the official registration page shows about $29,100 raised so far. The Salvation Army says every dollar raised that evening will stay local in Pasadena, supporting food assistance, housing assistance, youth development, addiction recovery, disaster services and other programs that run year-round.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. with guest check-in, a cocktail reception and a silent auction, followed by dinner and the main program at 7 p.m., along with live entertainment. The requested attire is sophisticated seasonal gala attire.
The featured speaker is Leonard Russell II, a former NFL first-round draft pick who earned NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. After his professional football career, he struggled with addiction and found a new beginning through The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center. He now serves as an Intake Coordinator with The Salvation Army, walking alongside others as they begin their own recovery.
"Behind every meal served, every child encouraged, every family supported and every person given the opportunity to begin again is a story that matters," said Captain Becky Helms, Corps Officer of The Salvation Army Pasadena Tabernacle. "Every gift given that evening stays here and makes a difference here."
The Salvation Army has served Pasadena and surrounding communities since 1888. Single tickets for the gala are $100 to $125, a half table is $500 to $625, and a full table is $1,000 to $1,250, with sponsorship levels from $2,500 to $15,000.
