Kings Beat Mavericks 115-100 for First Win of the Season Behind Acuff's 25 Points

On the night of November 2, the Sacramento Kings of Sacramento County, California, beat the Dallas Mavericks 115-100 on the road for their first win of the 2026-27 season, becoming the last NBA team to enter the win column.
Rookie guard Darius Acuff Jr. scored a game-high 25 points, Malik Monk added 24 off the bench and Zach LaVine finished with 23. Sacramento led 54-53 at halftime and opened the third quarter with an 8-2 run; early in the fourth, Emanuel Sharp turned a steal into a transition three for an 86-75 lead, and Acuff then scored seven straight points, capped by a top-of-the-key three that made it 106-91.
The Kings shot 19 of 43 from three-point range (44.2%), while Dallas made only 7 of 33. Daniel Gafford and Walter Clayton Jr. scored 20 apiece for Dallas, and Cooper Flagg had 17 points on 3-of-19 shooting as the Mavericks' three-game win streak ended. Dallas played without Kyrie Irving (left knee injury management). Sacramento hosts the Los Angeles Lakers on November 4.
