New VA Clinic Breaks Ground November 6 in Ashtabula, Ohio: 16,218 Square Feet and 21 Exam Rooms

A new outpatient clinic for veterans in Ashtabula, Ashtabula County, Ohio, will break ground on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at 3001 Eureka Road. The Erie VA Health Care System has invited veterans and community members to attend the ceremony. The new clinic will replace the existing clinic on Lambros Lane in Ashtabula.
The clinic's square footage is increasing from 6,500 square feet to 16,218 square feet. It will feature 21 exam rooms, including women's health exam rooms, oncology, podiatry, orthopedics and cardiology services, as well as telehealth services including teledermatology, endocrinology, diabetes, rheumatology and neurology care, and expanded support areas. The design centers on the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model, which provides flexibility for patient care rooms to better serve incoming veterans.
The new site is conveniently located adjacent to Lowe's and near Interstate 90, with 75 parking spaces. The Erie VA said veterans will have access to expanded services and a more tailored experience at the new facility.
