D.C. Police Seek Suspect in Maine Avenue Business Burglary
The Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia issued a public appeal on November 6 for help identifying a suspect in a burglary of a business in Southwest Washington. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Maine Avenue, Southwest, and the department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person responsible.
According to the department, on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at approximately 1:14 a.m., the suspect entered an establishment in the 600 block of Maine Avenue, Southwest, took property and then fled the scene. The suspect was captured by a camera, and police released the image with the appeal.
Anyone who can identify the suspect or has knowledge of the incident is asked to take no action, but to call police at (202) 727-9099 or text a tip to the department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The case number is CCN 26159206.
