Toyota Motor North America Reports October 2026 U.S. Sales of 221,507 Vehicles, Up 6.5%
PLANO, Texas — Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) on November 3 reported October 2026 U.S. sales of 221,507 vehicles, up 6.5 percent from October 2025.
Electrified vehicles drove the growth. Sales of electrified models — hybrids, plug-in hybrids, battery electrics and fuel-cell vehicles — across the Toyota and Lexus divisions totaled 126,054 in October, up 34.6 percent year over year and representing 56.9 percent of total sales volume, while gasoline-powered vehicle sales fell 16.4 percent to 95,453.
TMNA, headquartered in Plano, Texas, handles U.S. sales for the Toyota and Lexus brands. The mix continues a year-long trend: in the third quarter, TMNA sold 633,223 vehicles in the United States, of which 363,367, or 57.4 percent, were electrified — meaning nearly six of every ten Toyota and Lexus vehicles sold in the U.S. are now electrified models.
