Wednesday, November 4, 2026 · Society · GSM News

The Asian Hall of Fame will hold its 22nd induction ceremony on November 5 in Los Angeles, California. The presenter lineup announced on November 4 includes former Los Angeles Dodgers president Peter O'Malley, who will present the Sports Pioneer Medal to former Dodgers pitcher Hideo Nomo; music producer Lee Soo-man, who will present the Centennial Lifetime Achievement Medal to CJ Group vice chairwoman Miky Lee; and California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, who will present Heritage Excellence Medals to recipients including San Manuel tribal chairwoman Lynn Valbuena. Ma is herself a 2025 inductee.

The black-tie gala is the Hall's largest annual fundraiser, supporting its program of 100 women's scholarships in technology, entertainment, science and sports for applicants nationwide. Performers include Yoshiki, Yoon Mi-rae and Tiger JK, and the evening features a red-carpet presentation of national costumes by Asian Hall of Fame pageant representatives.

Founded in 2004, the Asian Hall of Fame supports scholarships, trauma survivors and workforce development. This year's induction class was announced in September and includes Chinese-American actress Lisa Lu (卢燕).
