COVE Animal Health Expands into Delaware, Partnering With Five-Hospital Windcrest Group

Wednesday, November 4, 2026 · States · GSM News

COVE Animal Health announced on November 4 that it is expanding into Delaware through a partnership with the Windcrest Animal Hospital Group. Headquartered in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware, the Windcrest group operates five animal hospitals serving the Wilmington and Hockessin areas. It is COVE's first regional veterinary network in the state.

Under the partnership, Windcrest Animal Hospital, Centreville Veterinary Hospital, Graylyn Crest Animal Hospital, Hockessin Animal Hospital and Talleyville Veterinary Hospital will keep their names and community identities while gaining broader clinical support, resources, management experience and integrated patient services. COVE describes itself as a community of veterinary entrepreneurs focused on connected, high-quality, community-centered care.

As pet ownership grows, demand for quality veterinary services keeps rising across the United States, and small and mid-sized practices increasingly join larger networks to share management costs and raise clinical standards. COVE said existing clients of the five hospitals can continue visiting the same locations.
