Pritzker Releases 200-Point National Agenda, Urging New Congress to Prioritize Immigration, Health Care and Super Intelligence (SI)

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker held a news conference on November 4 in Chicago's Austin neighborhood, where he released a 75-page, 200-point national agenda calling on newly elected congressional Democrats to prioritize immigration, health care, super intelligence (SI), and reversing a series of federal cuts made over the past two years. It was Pritzker's first day after winning a third term; the agenda, titled "Fighting for Illinois," was first released that morning to NBC News and is intended to set a roadmap for the Democrats' new majority in Congress.
Pritzker said the agenda needs to be taken up by Congress immediately, rather than waiting until Democrats can try to reclaim the White House in 2028. He named the state's two U.S. senators — senior Senator Tammy Duckworth and newly elected Juliana Stratton — as the ones he expects to carry the agenda in the Senate. The agenda ranges widely, from reversing specific executive actions signed by President Donald Trump to health care, wages, immigration, infrastructure and federal funding.
Pritzker also outlined next steps in Illinois. He said the state legislature will take up multiple issues during the veto session beginning November 17, with data-center regulation and a deal to keep the Chicago Bears in Illinois high on his wish list. Pritzker won his third term in the November 3 election with about 60% of the vote.
