The Arkansas Department of Transportation's 2026 Arkansas Transportation Summit runs November 4-6 in Rogers, with Federal Highway Administration Administrator Sean McMaster joining state transportation officials for a conversation on funding, safety and future challenges. The annual summit brings together department employees, government officials, consultants, academics and exhibitors to exchange ideas on the innovations, opportunities and challenges shaping transportation in Arkansas.

According to the department's October 30 announcement, McMaster will join ARDOT Director Jared Wiley in an in-depth conversation during the opening general session, covering transportation funding, safety and industry challenges. On November 3, McMaster also toured recently completed and ongoing transportation projects in the region, including the Interstate 49 extension in Barling.

The department said the annual summit is a key platform for Arkansas's transportation community to share ideas, explore new technologies and partnerships, and address the system's current challenges. The three-day summit ends November 6.
