Kern County's 8th Annual Mega Adoption Event Set for November 14 in Bakersfield: Reduced Adoption Fees and a Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic

Kern County Animal Services announced that the 8th annual Kern Mega Adoption Event will be held on Saturday, November 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Park at River Walk in Bakersfield, California. Admission is free.
Seventeen shelters, animal control agencies and rescue groups will bring adoptable animals, including Kern County Animal Services, the City of Bakersfield Animal Care Center and Tulare County Animal Control. Most animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered and fully vaccinated, ready to go home the same day, and adoption fees are reduced for the event.
A low-cost vaccination clinic will run at the same site from 9 a.m. to noon that day: vaccines are $18 each, microchips $25 and flea treatment $10 to $25, by cash, credit or debit, and a spay/neuter clinic will take registrations. The event contact is [email protected] or 661-868-7100.
