[Video] Kim Kardashian Didn't Know What a Jacket Potato Was a Year Ago; Now She Eats One Every Week and Put the Joke in Her Show

Reality star Kim Kardashian says in a new Capital FM follow-up interview that the British food that left her baffled a year ago — the jacket potato — is now something she eats at least once a week, and that she and co-star Sarah Paulson improvised the joke into season two of their legal drama All's Fair. The interview was released on Capital's official channel, and outlets including Female First and The Sun followed up on November 4.
The callback began in November 2025, when Kardashian and Paulson appeared on Capital FM to promote All's Fair and TikTok sensation Grime Gran, real name Margie Keefe, asked Kardashian: 'And you're a big fan of jacket potato, ain't ya?' A visibly confused Kardashian replied 'Who?' and then admitted, 'I don't know what that is,' while Paulson confessed she did not know either. Grime Gran explained that a jacket potato is simply a potato cooked in its skin, after which Kardashian said she loved them, with sour cream, butter and bacon bits as her filling. The clip went viral on social media at the time.
In the new interview, Kardashian said: 'We mention it on season two of All's Fair. There is a scene and I'm bringing Sarah some food and I say, "Do you want a jacket potato?" And we improvised, and we did that just for you guys.' Asked whether she has actually tried one since, she replied: 'I have a jacket potato at least once a week. Well, I am 44 per cent British. I did a DNA test!'
All's Fair, created by Ryan Murphy, stars Kardashian as lawyer Allura Grant alongside Paulson, Niecy Nash and Naomi Watts; season two began streaming on Disney+ on November 4. In the interview released by Capital, the cast also discussed topics including a possible Glee reboot.
