Follow-up: Rancho Palos Verdes Sewer Repair Continues: Traffic Control on Palos Verdes Drive South Through November 13
RANCHO PALOS VERDES, California - The City of Rancho Palos Verdes, in Los Angeles County, issued a traffic alert on November 4: as part of the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts' sewer repair project, traffic control will remain in place on the oceanside lane of Palos Verdes Drive South, just west of Yacht Harbor Drive and Schooner Drive, through November 13.
Traffic control will be in place from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays through Friday, November 13, and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 7. Flaggers will guide drivers through the area one direction at a time.
The city advises drivers to expect delays and consider an alternate route, and asks those who must drive through the area to proceed slowly, yield to workers and obey traffic control at the site. Project updates are available through the Sanitation Districts' project page.
