Lake Elsinore Veterans Day Ceremony Set for Nov. 11 at the Diamond: This Year's Brick Honorees to Be Recognized

The City of Lake Elsinore in Riverside County, California, will hold its annual Veterans Day Observance Ceremony on Wednesday, November 11, at 9:00 a.m. at Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium, 500 Diamond Drive, honoring those who have served in the U.S. armed forces. For details, residents may contact Special Events Coordinator Melissa Veliz at 951-848-0481 or [email protected].
This year's ceremony will include special recognition of the newest honorees in the city's Veterans Memorial Brick Program. The memorial, located at the stadium's main entrance, was unveiled in 2014 and now carries 358 engraved bricks.
Bricks are available to the public for $85 each and can be engraved with three lines of up to 20 characters each, a way for families to commemorate a loved one's service. Orders can be placed through Linda Perez at 951-289-5420; City Hall is at 130 South Main Street.
Veterans Day is a federal holiday observed each year on November 11. The Lake Elsinore ceremony is one of the city's annual special events and is open to the public.
