Moxies to open first Central Texas location on Austin's Congress Avenue in December
Canadian premium-casual restaurant brand Moxies will open a new location on Congress Avenue in downtown Austin this December, at 600 South Congress Avenue, spanning 10,000 square feet. It is the brand's first location in Central Texas and its fifth in the state, following Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston.
The restaurant is now hiring and is expected to create more than 100 jobs. The company says the new store will offer handcrafted dishes, signature cocktails and award-winning service.
Austin is advancing its Congress Avenue Urban Design Initiative to make the corridor a more pedestrian-focused destination, and Moxies' arrival is viewed as part of that effort. An exact opening date has not been announced. (Source: Moxies)
