Follow-Up: The Weeknd Wraps Tour With a Record $1.3 Billion Gross, the Biggest Ever by a Male Artist

Canadian singer The Weeknd's After Hours Til Dawn stadium tour has come to a close. Promoter Live Nation released the final tally on November 5: the tour played its last show on the night of November 4 at TM Stadium Nasional in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and grossed more than $1.3 billion, making it the highest-grossing tour by a male artist in history.
The tour began in Philadelphia in July 2022 and ran for more than four years: 176 shows across 67 cities, 30 countries and five continents, selling more than 9 million tickets. In 2026 alone it grossed more than $500 million and sold more than 3 million tickets; in July it topped Billboard's monthly Boxscore chart with more than $120 million grossed and nearly 900,000 tickets sold in a single month.
On the all-time list the tour ranks third, behind only Taylor Swift's Eras Tour (more than $2 billion) and Coldplay's Music of the Spheres tour (more than $1.5 billion). The previous male-artist record was Elton John's Farewell Yellow Brick Road, which grossed $939 million over 330 shows between 2018 and 2023. The Weeknd first broke that record in November 2025, when the tour passed $1 billion; the final tally now pushes it beyond $1.3 billion.
The run also set venue records, including seven shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, a record for a male artist in both shows and gross, and six shows at Toronto's Rogers Centre. The tour raised $8.5 million for the XO Humanitarian Fund and Global Citizen in support of hunger relief and education, including $3 million raised in 2026 for the United Nations World Food Programme.
