Kentucky rock band Cage the Elephant announced on November 5, 2026, that their seventh studio album, Dying In Reverse, will be released on February 5, 2027 via Big Loud Rock, alongside the new single 'Make It Easy.' The band debuted the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday and played an intimate Los Angeles show on Wednesday.
The 12-track album follows earlier singles 'Dying in Reverse' and 'Beaches in Tennessee' and was made with producers Justin Raisen and SADPONY (Jeremiah Raisen). It is the band's first album for Big Loud Rock and follows 2024's Neon Pill.
Formed in Bowling Green in 2006, Cage the Elephant won consecutive Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album with Tell Me I'm Pretty and Social Cues, while Neon Pill was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album. The band is also scheduled to perform at the NFL halftime show in Munich on November 15. (Source: Big Loud Rock)
