Sanven Recalls About 1,950 Vevor BMX Bicycles; U.S. Titan Recalls 117 X-Pro Youth ATVs in Same CPSC Batch

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) posted two recalls on November 5. Sanven Technology Ltd. is recalling about 1,950 Vevor BMX bicycles (recall number 27-073): the bicycles are not equipped with a chain guard, violating the mandatory federal safety regulation for bicycles, so loose clothing can get entrapped in the chain drive, posing a risk of serious injury or a deadly crash hazard. The bicycles also do not comply with labeling requirements.
The recalled Vevor BMX bicycles are 20-inch and 24-inch models SS24001 and SS24002, with the model numbers printed on the product packaging; the bikes were sold in black with the Vevor logo printed across the downtube. They were sold at Vevor stores nationwide and online at vevor.com from October 2024 through April 2026 for between $152 and $188. The importer is Sanven Technology Ltd., of Rancho Cucamonga, California, and the bicycles were manufactured in China. No incidents have been reported. Consumers should stop using the bicycles immediately and contact Sanven Technology for a free repair kit: the firm will ship free chain guards with detailed installation tutorials and after-sales support. Contact by email at [email protected] or through the recall page on the Vevor website.
The second recall in the same batch is from U.S. Titan, covering about 117 X-Pro Eagle youth all-terrain vehicles (recall number 27-074). The speed-adjusting module included with these 110cc gas-powered vehicles allows the ATV's speed to be adjusted in excess of the maximum speed for vehicles intended for children 6 years old and older, violating the mandatory ATV safety standard and posing a risk of serious injury or death from a crash. The vehicles were sold in black, blue, red, pink, spider and camo color schemes, with "X-PRO" printed on the side panel and a plate on the left front of the frame stating that the ATV is subject to Titan Imports Inc.'s CPSC-approved action plan.
The ATVs were sold online at Walmart.com, Powersportsmax.com, Xprousa.com, Amazon.com and eBay.com from July 2025 through September 2025 for between $680 and $980. The importer is Titan Imports, Inc., doing business as U.S. Titan, of Ontario, California; the retailer is Moshin, LLC, doing business as X-PRO, of Carrollton, Texas; the vehicles were manufactured in China, and no incidents have been reported. Consumers should stop using the speed-adjusting module immediately and return it using a prepaid shipping label for a $100 refund; the vehicle can continue to be used without the module. Contact X-Pro at (888) 842-6607 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT Monday through Friday, or by email at [email protected].
