DoorDash, Inc. (NASDAQ: DASH), the San Francisco, California-based local commerce delivery platform, on November 5 announced financial results for the quarter ended September 30. Total Orders increased 21% year over year to 776 million, Marketplace GOV increased 25% to $25.0 billion, and revenue increased 27% to $3.446 billion.

GAAP net income attributable to common stockholders increased 51% to $244 million, and adjusted EBITDA increased 41% to $754 million, reaching 3.0% of Marketplace GOV. Net revenue margin rose to 13.8% from 13.5% a year earlier. The company said it generated nearly $24 billion in combined sales for merchants and earnings for Dashers in the quarter, and expects to generate well over $100 billion in 2026.

The biggest change came internationally: on October 2, DoorDash closed its acquisition of UK delivery platform Deliveroo for an equity value of £2.8 billion. Including Deliveroo and Wolt, the company now serves over 50 million monthly active users, over 30 million consumers through its membership programs, and more than 1 million merchants across more than 40 countries, with annualized Marketplace GOV above $100 billion. In the U.S., restaurant-category GOV growth reached its highest year-over-year rate in more than three years.

For the fourth quarter, DoorDash expects Marketplace GOV of $28.9 billion to $29.5 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $710 million to $810 million, including an expected contribution of about $45 million from Deliveroo. The company also said it expects to invest several hundred million dollars more in new initiatives and platform development in 2026 than in 2025. (Source: DoorDash)
