On homelessness, the city's Incident Management Team (IMT) received 2,031 calls for service from October 5 to November 1, engaging people experiencing homelessness, offering services and shelter options, and ensuring compliance with city laws and ordinances; the team made 197 shelter placements and removed more than 219,000 pounds of trash. The city also noted expanded urban forest efforts, including a new working group, parking lot greening projects, and volunteer tree plantings.
