Seattle Parks Adjusts Veterans Day Operations on November 11: Community Centers and Indoor Pools Close
Seattle Parks and Recreation in Seattle, King County, Washington, has published its Veterans Day operations for November 11: all recreation programs, community centers and teen life centers, and indoor pools are closed, as are the Green Lake Small Craft Center and the Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center. The department posted the schedule on November 3.
Parks and boat ramps stay open, along with the Volunteer Park Conservatory, the Seattle Japanese Garden, golf courses and driving ranges; the Amy Yee Tennis Center's facilities are open while its programs pause.
