East Atlanta Library Hosts Open Mic Night on November 16: Stories That Bring Us Home
The East Atlanta Branch of the Fulton County Library System (400 Flat Shoals Ave. SE) in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, hosts an open mic night, 'Stories That Bring Us Home,' on November 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in its meeting room. Registration is required; call the branch at 404-613-7320.
Performers may choose poetry, music, readings or comedy around the themes of heritage, gratitude, family, traditions and community; spoken pieces are limited to five minutes and music to one or two acoustic songs.
The audience votes for a winner, who receives a gift card sponsored by the Friends of the East Atlanta Library. Seating is limited.
