Austin Veterans Parade Marches Down Congress Avenue on November 7, Ceremony at 11:11 A.M.
Downtown Austin's Congress Avenue in Austin, Travis County, Texas, hosts the annual Austin Veterans Parade on November 7, with the full program running from 9 a.m. to noon.
The parade marches from 9 to 10 a.m.; a resource fair follows from 10 to 11 a.m. on the south steps of the Texas State Capitol, and the Veterans Day ceremony begins at 11:11 a.m. on the south steps.
The city's event page calls the parade one of Austin's longest-running patriotic traditions, held each year to honor the men and women who have served in the U.S. armed forces.
