Provisional Ballots Flip Pennsylvania's 41st District as Chambers Edges Miller by 30 Votes

COLUMBIA, Pa. — Pennsylvania's 41st House District flipped on November 6, as Democrat Brad Chambers moved ahead of Republican incumbent Brett Miller by 30 votes after provisional ballots were counted. On election night Miller led by 41 votes, 14,225 to 14,184. Lancaster County began counting provisional ballots on the morning of November 6; of 139 provisional ballots added, Chambers took 105, bringing the tally to 14,289 for Chambers and 14,259 for Miller.
Seven provisional ballots remain challenged, and 14 overseas and military ballots have yet to arrive, with a deadline of next Tuesday; even if all remaining ballots went to Miller, Chambers's lead would be difficult to overcome. Democrats are poised to add a third House seat in Lancaster County, raising their state House majority to at least 112 seats. In 2024, Miller defeated Chambers by about 4,000 votes. The district covers Columbia and Mountville boroughs, East and West Hempfield townships and part of Manor Township.
