Two Days of Free Dental Care: New Mexico Mission of Mercy Clinic Opens in Albuquerque
The 2026 New Mexico Mission of Mercy free dental clinic opened on November 6 in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, at Tingley Coliseum on the Expo New Mexico grounds, running for two days, November 6 and 7, to provide no-cost dental care to adults and children who struggle to access or afford treatment. The clinic is organised by the New Mexico Dental Association Foundation with support from Delta Dental of New Mexico; doors open at 5:15 a.m. each day and patients are seen first come, first served with no appointment required.
The clinic provides cleanings, fillings, extractions and limited root canal treatment; no identification is required, though patients must register and complete forms, and children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Mission of Mercy has provided free dental care to New Mexicans for years through volunteer dentists and staff.
