GardenFest of Lights Opens Nov. 23 at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden with an Otherworldly Theme
Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden opens November 23, 2026, and runs through January 3, 2027, lit nightly from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The garden is at 1800 Lakeside Avenue in Henrico County, Virginia (Richmond mailing address). It is closed on Thanksgiving and December 24 and 25, and November 20 to 22 are members-only preview nights.
This year's theme, Otherworldly, spreads nearly a million lights across the garden, with the lake-reflection display and model trains as fixtures and themed installations in the conservatory and central garden. The exhibition is a walk-through route.
Advance online timed tickets are required: adults pay $26 on non-peak nights and $29 on peak nights, members $16 and $19, with other age prices listed on the garden's official site, lewisginter.org; on-site availability is not guaranteed. (Source: Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden)
