Sixth 'Taste of China' Food and Culture Festival Held in Cary

The Chinese community of North Carolina's Triangle welcomed its annual food celebration today. The sixth 'Taste of China' food and culture festival was held on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Downtown Cary Park, 327 South Academy Street. The festival featured Chinese food stalls, cultural performances and community cultural exchange, drawing residents from Cary, Raleigh, Durham and across the Triangle.
Now in its sixth edition, the 'Taste of China' festival has become one of the Triangle Chinese community's largest annual cultural events. Organizers say it aims, through food, art and live performance, to showcase the richness of Chinese culture and foster understanding among communities. Downtown Cary Park, since its renovation, has become a popular weekend gathering place for Triangle residents, and this year's festival returned to the venue with multiple food stalls and a performance stage, free for the whole family. Organizers note the festival ends at 5 p.m. and suggest visitors plan their trips ahead.
