Infinity Festival Opens November 12 in Los Angeles: Brad Bird to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award

The ninth Infinity Festival runs November 12-15, 2026, at the Audrey Irmas Pavilion in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California. The organizer describes four days of panels, screenings, exhibitions, parties and networking bringing together creators, executives and technologists from film, television, gaming, animation, music, sports tech and AI, under this year's theme, "The Great Convergence."
New this year is the inaugural ASIFA Showcase, presented with ASIFA-Hollywood, bringing animation studios and filmmakers together for screenings and conversation. The team behind the animated film Tangles is among the announced participants, including producer and voice actor Seth Rogen, producer Lauren Miller Rogen and director Leah Nelson.
The festival has announced that director Brad Bird will receive the Monolith Lifetime Achievement Award and that LAIKA president and CEO Travis Knight will receive the Monolith Award for Visionary Storytelling. Programming also spans sports and sports tech, AI, gaming, the Monolith Awards, a Student Lab and an exhibition floor, with additional speakers and sessions to be announced.
The Audrey Irmas Pavilion, designed by OMA's Shohei Shigematsu, is a 55,000-square-foot venue and OMA's first cultural building in California, at 3643 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010; additional venues are to be announced.
