Natural Grocers Collects Donations at 71 Stores Across Four States November 6-22 for Red Cross Flood Relief

Natural Grocers, based in Lakewood, Colorado, announced on November 6 that all of its locations across Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah, 71 stores in total, will collect register donations from November 6 through 22 to benefit the American Red Cross and its relief efforts for communities affected by the recent catastrophic flooding across the Four Corners region.
Natural Grocers is a family-operated organic and natural grocery retailer in the United States. The company said funds collected will go to the American Red Cross to support its ongoing regional flood relief efforts.
The recent Four Corners flooding has affected multiple communities, with relief operations under way in places including San Juan County, New Mexico, and southwestern Colorado, where the Red Cross and other organizations are providing shelter, meals and recovery assistance.
The campaign is another example of a retailer using its store network to raise disaster funds. Customers can donate $1, $5 or $10 at the register, and the company will match customer donations up to $10,000. The 71 stores are in Arizona (11), Colorado (45), New Mexico (7) and Utah (8).
