2026 Korea Grand Music Awards Music Day Wraps Up in Seoul on November 8: ATEEZ Wins Grand Record Among Three Awards, ITZY Leads Night With Five
SEOUL, South Korea — The second day of the third Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA), billed as Music Day, was held on Sunday, November 8 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, hosted by actor Kim Jae Won and IVE's Liz, closing the two-day ceremony.
ATEEZ won the Grand Record grand prize, along with Best Music and Best Stage, for three awards on the night. According to Soompi, it is ATEEZ's third consecutive year winning a "Grand" award since the first KGMA in 2024. RIIZE took home Grand Performer and Best Music.
ITZY collected five awards in total, the most of Music Day: the group won Grand Honor's Choice and Best Music, while members Yuna and Ryujin added three individual awards, including the Music Day Most Popular Artist honor for Yuna. KiiiKiii won three awards — Grand Honor's Choice, Best Music and Best Streaming Song for "404." MONSTA X was named Best Group, and KISS OF LIFE took Best Stage in the female category.
The KGMA was founded by Ilgan Sports in 2024 and marked its third edition this year. Its first day, Artist Day, was held on November 7, when DAY6's Young K won five awards including Grand Artist and TREASURE won four including Grand Song.
