[Video] Lee Chang-dong's "Possible Love" Premieres Globally on Netflix November 6: Venice Silver Lion Winner and South Korea's Oscar Entry Adds Korean Critics' Best Film Prize

Possible Love, the new film from South Korean director Lee Chang-dong, premiered globally on Netflix on Friday, November 6. It is Lee's first feature in eight years, following Burning in 2018; Netflix released the film's final trailer on October 20 and confirmed the streaming date.
Co-written by Lee and longtime collaborator Oh Jung-mi, the film follows two married couples from opposite social worlds whose lives collide after a shared event. Sul Kyung-gu plays Ho-seok, a laid-off worker; Jeon Do-yeon plays his wife Mi-ok; and Zo In-sung and Cho Yeo-jeong play the other couple. The score is by Jung Jae-il, known for Parasite and Squid Game. Netflix's Tudum lists the running time as two hours and 47 minutes.
The film previously won the Silver Lion Grand Jury Prize at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival and has been selected as South Korea's submission for Best International Feature Film at the 99th Academy Awards. Two days before its Netflix premiere, on November 4, it won Best Film at the 46th Korean Film Critics Association Awards in Seoul, where Jeon Do-yeon was named Best Actress for her performance as Mi-ok.
