Kansas Falls 33-32 to UCF After Late Comeback Is Answered in the Final Moments

LAWRENCE, Kansas — Kansas lost 33-32 at home to UCF on November 7, another one-point Big 12 defeat. Kansas trailed 26-7 in the third quarter before rallying behind sophomore quarterback Isaiah Marshall, who started and led the second-half comeback, pushing ahead 32-26 late in the game. But UCF answered with a go-ahead touchdown drive in the final moments and, with the extra point, won 33-32. Kansas fell to 3-6 overall and 1-5 in the Big 12, its chances of a bowl game slim for a third straight season; UCF snapped a 12-game road losing streak and improved to 5-4. Kansas has three regular-season games left, two on the road, with its only home game against No. 8 BYU; next up is a November 14 trip to West Virginia.
