Maine Celtics Rout Westchester 123-94 in Their Opener, Then Win Again 98-93 on Nov. 8 for a 2-0 Start
PORTLAND, Maine — The Maine Celtics routed the Westchester Knicks 123-94 at the Portland Expo on November 6 to open the 2026-27 NBA G League Tip-Off Tournament, then beat Westchester again 98-93 at the same venue on November 8 for a 2-0 start. In the opener, Boston Celtics first-round pick Chris Cenac Jr., the No. 27 selection in this year's draft, made his G League debut with a team-leading 19 points and 11 rebounds. Maine is Boston's G League affiliate; guard Milos Uzan said before the opener that after his first season around the Boston Celtics' training camp he is settling into life and the pace of play in Maine. Of the team's 50 games this season, 24 home dates are all at the Portland Expo, and Maine is aiming for a fourth straight playoff berth.
