North Dakota State Falls 79-70 at San Francisco, Second Loss in Three Days
FARGO, North Dakota — North Dakota State's men's basketball team lost 79-70 at the University of San Francisco on the night of November 6, its second loss to a West Coast Conference opponent in three days. The Bison had fallen at Saint Mary's on Wednesday, November 4, before dropping this one in San Francisco. NDSU trailed by as many as 15 before rallying to within 4, but could not complete the comeback and lost by 9. Opening the season with a run of games on the West Coast, the Bison stay in California after two straight road losses: next they visit Bakersfield on Sunday, November 8, tipping off at 5 p.m. Central. The Bison lost at Bakersfield in 2024-25, won there in 2025-26, and also beat the Roadrunners in Fargo in 2024-25. NDSU needs to steady itself in the next road game to keep the skid from growing.
