Certified Local Fall Festival Marks 20 Years at Phoenix's Hance Park on Nov. 7

PHOENIX, Arizona — The Certified Local Fall Festival, organized by Local First Arizona, returned to Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix on Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., celebrating its 20th anniversary. The organization's signature annual event has brought local businesses, food, entertainment and community celebration to downtown Phoenix every fall for 20 years, drawing thousands of attendees. Organizers say this year's festival keeps its usual scale, with local craft vendors, farm produce, food trucks and live performances, and merchants who took part in the first edition in 2006 will share stories of staying local. The festival has championed Arizona small businesses since its founding and is free to the public. Organizers advise attendees to plan their trips in advance, as crowds around the park will be heavy, and suggest taking light rail or carpooling.
