U.S. Shenzhen Federation's Three Clubs Host BBQ Gathering on Nov 8: Pickleball Celebration, Guandan Lessons and a Photo Contest
Lake Forest, a city in Orange County, California, will host a Chinese community gathering on Sunday, November 8. Three clubs of the U.S. Shenzhen Federation, its pickleball club, guandan club and outdoor photography club, are jointly holding a BBQ gathering to celebrate the Shangrao team, the Yikang Wealth team and the Xiaohuya team, which finished victorious in a pickleball tournament. The event takes place at 501 Serrano Summit Dr, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
Activities begin at noon, with the barbecue served from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.; club activities continue after 4 p.m. and the event ends at 8 p.m.
Each club has its own program: the pickleball club offers free beginner improvement coaching, and the Xiaohuya team will hold a dance practice; the guandan club runs introductory lessons and matches; the outdoor photography club holds a documentary portrait photography contest. All three clubs' programs run alongside the barbecue.
Admission is free for children aged 12 and under and $10 per person for those over 12. Participants sign up through the group sign-up chain and pay by Zelle; registration is confirmed once payment is completed. When paying, note your group nickname (use pinyin in place of Chinese characters) and add the letters BBQ. The payment number for registration is shown on the event poster.
