San Francisco Fleet Week Opens Oct. 4: Blue Angels, Ship Tours and Parade of Ships

San Francisco is a city in San Francisco County, California (a consolidated city-county). San Francisco Fleet Week 2026 will run Oct. 4-12 along the city's northern waterfront, with the festival center at Marina Green (200 Marina Blvd.) and most programming free to the public, according to the organizers' schedule at fleetweeksf.org. Opening day, Oct. 4, launches the Humanitarian Assistance Village and STEM exhibits.
The centerpiece is the air show on Oct. 9-11, from noon to 4 p.m. daily, headlined by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and also featuring a United Airlines 777 demonstration, the F-22 Raptor and the Marine Corps F-35B demo team. The Parade of Ships — the largest on the West Coast — sails under the Golden Gate Bridge on the morning of Oct. 9. From Oct. 7-12, visitors can tour Navy and Coast Guard vessels for free at Piers 27, 30/32, 35 and 15/17, typically from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Fleet Week began in 1981 and is among the largest such celebrations in the United States, with an estimated annual economic impact above $100 million. The SFMTA advised spectators to use public transit, as waterfront streets will face closures and heavy crowds on air show days.
