Missouri Executive Order 26-20 Allows Dyed Diesel on State Highways Through End of 2026

Missouri Governor Kehoe signed Executive Order 26-20 on October 9, expanding the earlier Executive Order 26-19 and aligning state policy with the federal diesel tax relief order.

Under the new order, all motor vehicles may use dyed diesel on Missouri highways without restrictions on purpose, and state-level penalties related to such use are suspended.
The order also continues the higher agricultural weight limits, easing highway transport of farm products and supplies during the harvest season.
Executive Order 26-20 takes effect immediately and remains in force through December 31, 2026.
